Todd Mayclin is a self described “lab rat”, and admits the lure of creating smiles caught his attention at an early age. “The sounds and smells of the lab attracted me when I would go in with my dad on the weekends for him to catch up on things”, Todd says. When he realized this was the career he would pursue, he joined the lab full time in 1982 after graduating from Hennepin Technical College with a degree in dental technology. Todd has spent time in all areas of production. He completed the purchase of the family business in 1999. Todd also served the Minnesota Dental Laboratory Association on many committees as well as all of the executive chairs including the presidency of that group. He has been a delegate a number of times to the NADL as well. His wife, 2 daughters, and 2 dogs are the center of his life. Outside of work, you’re likely to find Todd up north at their lake cabin. His hobbies include fishing, on the water or on the ice, golfing, and reading. .

Customer Service Director

Melanie Qualley has worked for the company in many capacities.  She started out building the crowns when they were first being introduced to the market.  She also worked part-time during breaks and summer vacation from college as a delivery driver, bookkeeper, and in many other areas.  Currently, she is Director of Customer Service.  Her family life consists of her husband and two children, one dog, three cats and a turtle.  Any free time she has is dedicated to reading, scrapbooking and spending time outdoors (provided it isn’t too cold!).

Client Services Director

Brandon Richards serves as our Director of Client Services. Richards brings a wealth of talent and a unique customer-centric focus to Kinder Krowns®. Prior to joining the company, Richards worked for Firstmark Services, Inc., where he held a position directing a team of student loan servicing representatives. During his time with Firstmark, he made it a priority to improve the customer experience and raised overall customer satisfaction considerably over his time with them. Prior to that, Brandon was spent several months as an English Professor in Cali, Colombia. There he learned a tremendous amount about the Latin American culture and became fluent in Spanish. Brandon earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration at the University of Minnesota and is currently pursuing his MBA though Concordia University.
