Anterior Kinder Krowns®

Our anterior crowns are a time-saving, less technique sensitive alternative to other aesthetic crowns, open-faced window crowns and strip crowns. To meet the necessary strength requirements for you and your patients, our crowns are faced with a special bonding agent and a durable, high-flexural strength dental composite.

Length

Kinder Krowns® are available in two lengths: Regular and Short. The length of our regular crowns are equivalant to standard SSCs and our short crowns have been reduced by 1mm. The length you should choose will depend on your preparation technique, so if you find yourself routinely shortening regular SSCs, you may want to try our 1mm short crowns.

Shade

Your patients want a natural-looking restoration and so do you. Anterior Kinder Krowns® are available in two shades: Pedo 1 and Pedo 2. Pedo 2 is the more natural shade for the pediatric patient, and Pedo 1 is a lighter, bleached shade. Most pedodontists find our Pedo 2 shade to match their patient's existing dentition more closely and therefore it is most often chosen.

Universal Contour

To simplify ordering and inventory, standard Kinder Krowns® are universally contoured – you can make them right or left by rounding the distal corner if desired. If you prefer to have lefts and rights, we’d be happy to do that for you at no additional charge.

Posterior Kinder Krowns®

Coverage

For your benefit, posterior crowns are offered in 2 styles: full coverage (buccal and occlusal) or buccal-only. Most doctors are using the buccal-only on the upper-arch where the occlusal isn't seen as readily and the full coverage posteriors for all other applications.

Shade

We offer our posterior Kinder Krowns® in the most natural-looking shade, Pedo 2.

Kinder Krowns® delivers a superior solution.The teeth in our Pedo Bridges are constructed completely out of composite, making them more durable than acrylic teeth – and they are repairable chair side. Our ability to match any Bioform or Vita shade produces aesthetics second-to-none.

We custom design Pedo Bridges to your need, whether you prefer to use bands or crowns on the abutment teeth. Simply take the impression, fill out the prescription form, and send it to us.

Educational Model

We created an educational model as an excellent aid for parent consultations. The standard educational model displays two anterior teeth affected by ECC, next to two anterior Kinder Krowns®. The model will also have 1 buccal-only and 1 full-coverage on the first molar. This allows you to show your patients (and parents) the advantages of using Kinder Krowns. (There are customization options available for the posterior crowns.) As part of our value-added service for our clients, we provide free educational pamphlets for parents upon request.

Proper preparation is vital for the longevity of beautiful restorations. To help, we’ve designed a complete kit for the efficient preparation and adjustment of anterior and posterior Kinder Krowns®. The kit includes:
